Mineola Fire Department calls for the past week were:

Jan. 24 – At 12:14 p.m. the department was dispatched to County Road 2320 for a grass fire that started from a welding accident and burned approximately 10 acres. At 4:47 p.m. the department was dispatched to North Newsom and Cage Streets for a motor vehicle accident with no injuries. At 5:56 p.m. the department was dispatched to West Patten Street to assist EMS.

Jan. 23 – At 12:31 a.m. the department was dispatched to CR 2768 but was cancelled en route. At 1:10 p.m. the department was dispatched to Inwood and McDonald Streets for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. At 1:58 p.m. the department was dispatched to CR 462 for a grass fire that started from a brush pile and burned approximately three acres and at 5:14 p.m. was dispatched to CR 2650 for a small grass fire. At 5:40 p.m. the department was dispatched to Farm-to-Market Road 779 to assist Alba FD.

Jan. 22 – At 7:53 a.m. the department was dispatched to CR 2276 to assist EMS. At 11:14 a.m. the department was dispatched to 102 Maxine Street for a sprinkler activation due to a malfunction.

Jan. 21 – At 11:07 p.m. the department was dispatched to CR 2502 for an authorized controlled burning.
