Yellowjackets earn top state football honor
Dave Campbell’s Texas Football has named the Mineola Yellowjackets the School of the Week for Conference 3A.
The magazine said, “In a matchup of perennial powers, the Yellowjackets rallied from a three-touchdown deficit late, and Trevion Sneed’s 15-yard touchdown run in overtime pushed Mineola to a 57-49 win over 2019 state finalist Pottsboro.
The award comes just two weeks after Sneed was honored for the best performance in 3A by Ford Motor Co.
