Yellowjackets take on Atlanta in bidistrict playoff Thursday
Mineola takes on Atlanta in the bidistrict round of the state football playoffs Thursday. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Spring Hill.
Atlanta defeated Jefferson Friday to secure the fourth place playoff spot from District 6-3A, Division 1.
Mineola’s win over Commerce Friday gave the ‘Jackets the top seed in District 5-3A along with a 9-1 regular season record. Pottsboro defeated Winnsboro to decide second and third.
The winner of Thursday’s contest will take on the winner between Groesbeck and Madison.
Tickets will be sold online only – no tickets will be sold at the gate.
