Yantis scores district victories
The Yantis Owls got two big district wins last week in baseball action. The owls started the week with Lucas Cerretani shutting out Fruitvale 10-0. The big senior kept the Bobcats off the bases while pitching a gem to lead the Owls to victory.
Jarvis Christian College signee Marshall Anderson got the win with a two-hit 16-2 trouncing of Saltillo Friday. The Owls got five first-inning runs and never looked back. Anderson also h ad two hits in the game.
