The Mineola Middle School boys and girls competed at the Van Invitational. track meet March 2. Other schools attending were Van, Malakoff and Athens.

The Mineola 7th grade boys and girls won the meet, the 8th grade girls came in 2nd and the 8th grade boys came in a very competitive 3rd. more

The district-leading Chapel Hill Bulldogs bested the Mineola Yellowjackets, 3-1, in action at Meredith Memorial Stadium Friday. The Jackets put up a spirited match but fell victim to the excellent team speed and soccer acumen of the top team in Class 4A District 13. more

At Rains High School the Mineola Yellowjackets began their tournament play with an excellent game against the Canton Eagles. Canton defeated the Jackets 4-2, but the game was chock-full of great fundamental baseball, and the two talented teams relished the competition.  more

Mineola defeats Kaufman in tourney

A young Lady Jackets team put together a well-constructed 9-5 win over Kaufman to give Mineola its second win in their five-game performance at the Canton tournament last weekend. Mineola used their wits, solid contact with the ball and a gutsy pitching performance by Kayleigh Thompson in the win.  more

Mineola teams winners of local golf tournament

The Alba-Golden golf team hosted a tournament at the Mineola Country Club on March 5. Participating were Alba-Golden, Mineola, Quitman, Winona and Brook Hill.
