The following guilty pleas were heard and sentences assessed February 26-28 in 402nd District Court in Quitman:

John Dee Strange, Terrell, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, third degree felony, two years in state prison, time served in custody; possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram, dismissed.

Rodney Edward Petrea, Sulphur Springs, possession of a controlled substance (PCS) penalty group 1 (PG1) less than one gram, state jail felony, eight years in state prison with 898 days credit for time served.

Keaton David McElroy, Winnsboro, deadly conduct discharge firearm, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine; aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury, second degree felony, dismissed.

Blane Danile Lee Saylor, Winnsboro, criminal trespass of a habitation/shelter/superfund site/infrastructure facility, Class A misdemeanor, five days in county jail with credit for time served five days, $500 fine.

Holly Joiner Crow, Talco, PCS PG1/1-B one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, three years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $500 fine.

Jason Aaron Hood, Quitman, driving while intoxicated third or more, 10 years in state prison suspended for six years community supervision, 30 days in county jail, 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine.

Hazel Rose Gage, Hawkins, terroristic threat of family/household member, 365 days in county jail with credit for time served.

Heather Marie Mock, Bedford, Penn., aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision, $1,000 fine.

David Alan Thomas, Hawkins, attempted to commit assault causes bodily injury, Class B misdemeanor, 180 days in county jail with credit for time served.

Chance Ray Whitlock, Winnsboro, driving while intoxicated third or more, seven years in state prison suspended for seven years community supervision, 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine.

Dustin Michael Sherman, Longview, criminal mischief $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, state jail felony, six months in county jail with credit for time served, $5,386 restitution.

Darrell Wayne McKiddy, Athens, evading arrest or detention, Class A misdemeanor, six months in county jail with 135 days credit for time served, $500 fine.

Chasity Marie Davis, Mineola PCS PG 1 four grams or more but less than 200, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, 10 years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $2,000 fine.

Amanda Michelle Moreland, assault of family/household member impeding breathing/circulation, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, six years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $5,000 fine.

Ed Eduardo Lugo, Galveston, PCS PG1 one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, prohibited substance in a correctional facility, third degree felony, eight years in state prison with 328 days credit fr time served, $4,000 fine.

Michael David Brown, Mineola, abandon/endanger child with intent to return, state jail felony, two years in state prison suspended for five years community supervision, 120 hours community service, $1,000 fine.

Jon Matthew Thompson, Quitman, hinder apprehension/prosecution of a known felon, third degree felony, two years in state prison with 690 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine.
