Alba-Golden pair commit to play for Dallas College
Two Alba-Golden seniors will continue their volleyball careers as Thunderducks.
Alyssa Murdock and Lainey Teel signed letters of intent to attend Dallas College and play for the Richland Thunderducks.
A signing ceremony was held at the school Dec. 19.
Teel, an outside hitter, was the district most valuable player while Murdock was the distirct’s libero of the year.

Alba-Golden pair commit to play for Dallas College
Two Alba-Golden seniors will continue their volleyball careers as Thunderducks.
Alyssa Murdock and Lainey Teel signed letters of intent to attend Dallas College and play for the Richland Thunderducks.
A signing ceremony was held at the school Dec.19.
Teel, an outside hitter, was the district most valuable player while Murdock was the distirct’s libero of the year. Both were also on the all-academic team.
They are among eight new recruits at Richland.
Richland is a part of the Dallas County Community College District and competes in the Dallas Athletic Conference.
The Thunderducks finished second in the Dallas Athletic Conference regular season with a 7-3 record and were ranked No. 9 in the final National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll.
They are coached by Grace Wells, in her second year.
Allyssa is the daughter of Joanie Murdock and Wade Murdock, and Lainey is the daughter of Mandy Teel and Johnny Teel.
