Alba man killed in motorcycle collision
Danny V. Bohannan, 51, of Alba died Friday in a traffic crash three miles south of Alba.
According to the Dept. of Public Safety, Bohannan was driving a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on FM 17 at 1:24 p.m. and while attempting to negotiate a curve to the right traveled into the northbound lane. Tony R. Curtiss, 44, of Sulphur Springs was northbound in a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500.
Justice of the Peace Tony Gilbreath ruled on Bohannan’s death at the scene. Trooper John Hefner investigated the crash.
