Alba VFD sets benefit fish fry

The Alba Volunteer Fire Dept.’s annual community fish fry is Saturday, Oct. 15 in downtown Alba.

Events get underway at 10 a.m., and the fish fry goes from 5 p.m. until it’s all gone. Cost is a donation to the fire department.

Backwoods Cornhole will sponsor a tournament at noon. Registration ($50) and open boards begin at 11. Cash prizes go to the win- ners.

From noon to 8 p.m. there will be a bounce house obstacle course and a dunking booth with local coaches for $1 from noon-5.

A live auction will be held at 6 p.m. along with a steer processing raffle.
