Amy Marie Hass, 1972-2021

Services for Amy Marie Hass, 48, of Alba were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Amazing Grace Fellowship with Bro. Byron George officiating.

Interment was in Pilgrim Rest #1 Cemetery, Emory.

Ms. Hass passed away April 2, 2021 in Tyler. She was born Sept. 18, 1972 in Quitman to W.C. Hass and Rebecca Fay Roach. Amy lived all her life in Alba and attended First Baptist Church, Alba. She was preceded in death by her father, W.C. Hass.

Survivors include her mother, Becky Kennedy of Hawkins; four sons, Dustin Bohannan and wife Casey of Alba, Justin Hass and wife Cortney of Henderson, Rustin Hass of Alba and Jessie Hass of Alba; two brothers, Brandon Hass and wife Paula of Alba and Ray Duarte and wife LaRissa of Alba; two sisters, Teresa Shamburger and husband Tony of Hawkins and Crissi Musick and husband Sam of Hawkins; seven grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
