Antoinette Frances Haubert Venable, 1944-2022

Antoinette Frances Haubert Venable, 78, of Mineola went to be with the Lord Oct. 5, 2022. She was born March 5, 1944, in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Anthony Haubert and Dorothy Davis.  

She grew up in Palestine and was the salutatorian of her graduating class. She and her husband raised their family in Mineola, where she was a homemaker, and they ran a small business together for over 20 years. She also worked for many years as a rural route mail carrier for the post office.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Haubert; mother, Dorothy Davis; and husband, Emmitt Venable. She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Windle, and sons, Arthur Venable and Gordon Venable and their families. She leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a legacy of a life lived as an example to those who knew her. She will be remembered as a faithful, obedient Christian who shared love and showed kindness to all who knew her.  

Please join us in celebration of her life and her passage into the kingdom of heaven. A memorial service is planned for Oct. 29, 2022, 11 a.m. at Harvest Acres Baptist Church.
