Association lauds Hebron for training efforts
The Texas Judicial Academy of the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) has honored Wood County Judge Lucy Hebron as a fellow.
Fellows are recognized as judges who go beyond the state requirements for attaining judicial education.
The new fellows were inducted during the 2021 Fall Judicial Education Session Nov. 17-19 in Boerne.
The academy is a partnership between TAC and the Texas Tech University School of Law.
It is overseen by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, which includes instruction for higher court judges, law school faculty and representatives of the Texas Probate College and the National Judicial College.
TAC provides a variety of services to its dues-paying member counties.
