Brandon Dale Asbill 1980-2024
Brandon Dale Asbill passed away on June 3, 2024 in Longview. He was born on March 19, 1980 in Pittsburg to Terry and Mary (Mezzell) Asbill. Brandon was known for his passion for carpentry as a self-employed carpenter and his dedication to his work.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Brandon enjoyed various hobbies and interests. He found solace in listening to Texas singer/songwriter country music, spending time by the campfire and expressing his creativity through geometric designs that adorned the beautiful wood pieces he crafted.
Brandon graduated from Quitman High School in 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science/business at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Brandon’s impact on those around him was immeasurable. He touched the lives of many during his time at the Highway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview and Gideons Restoration Church in Winnsboro. His warm personality and genuine kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Morris and Christine Asbill, and maternal grandparents, Romie and Rita Mezzell.
He is survived by his loving parents, Terry Asbill and Mary (Mezzell) Asbill of Eustace; daughter, Aubrey Christine; brother, Aaron Asbill and Michelle Garrett of Temple; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will hold onto precious memories of him forever.
