Church plans annual arts, crafts sale

The Family Life Center of Holly Brook Baptist Church will take on a distinctive holiday look for shoppers Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. when the annual arts and crafts sale unfurls beautiful multi-seasonal ware.

Hundreds of finely handcrafted items will decorate an event that has become a holiday favorite in Hawkins and surrounds. Shoppers can buy home decor, Christmas gifts, jewelry, paintings, handcrafted cards, wreaths for all seasons and memorabilia.

More than 30 artisans and crafters will have booths. Snacks such as hot pretzels will be available. Admission is free, and the public is welcome at 3219 S FM 2869, Hawkins. All items are handcrafted by local artists and crafters.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
