Couple celebrating 70th anniversary
Jay and May Ingram of Mineola are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary Sept. 2.
They were married in Houston County on Sept. 2, 1950 at the age of 16.
They have three daughters, Debbie Spivey of Fort Worth, Sherry Parrish of Houston and Rhonda Kutney of Mineola; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.
They have resided in Mineola for 29 years, where Jay has worked as a plumber.
