Disc golf course dedicated at nature preserve
With a snip of the ribbon, the disc golf course at the Mineola Nature Preserve was dedicated Saturday morning.
Neal Duncan with the Mineola Parks and Recreation Board said for projects like this to become reality, they have to have a champion, and that person is Mathew Brian.
Brian spoke of the numerous people who had a hand in making the course a reality, from the city and sponsors to the disc golf community which worked hard to bring it to fruition.
