District champ Panthers open baseball playoffs against Rivercrest
The Alba-Golden Panthers wrapped up the baseball season with a 16-3 victory over Como-Pickton to secure the district championship last week.
Playoffs get under way this week as the Panthers take on Rivercrest for a best-of-three bidistrict series in Grand Saline.
The first game is Thursday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. with game two Friday at 6:30. If a third game is needed it will be Saturday at 1 p.m.
