District court hands down sentences
The following motions for adjudication were heard and sentences assessed in criminal cases in 402nd District Court Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Angus Dan Arrington, Quitman, interfering with emergency call with previous conviction, state jail felony, 18 months in state jail with 526 days credit for time served.
Bobby Dale Bragg, Emory, manufacture or delivery of controlled substance PG1 four grams or more but less than 200, first degree felony, six years in state prison with 335 days credit for time served.
Tevin Jamal Carter, Cedar Hill, unlawful possession of metal or body armor by convicted felon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, third degree felony, three years in state prison with 564 days credit for time served.
Jason Bruce Alexander, Hawkins, assault causes bodily injury of family/household members with previous conviction, third degree felony, four years in state jail with 132 days credit for time served.
