Former chief deputy’s DWI probation revoked
Former Wood County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Audrey “Nikki” Wright was given 180 days probated for one year after pleading true for violating probation for a driving while intoxicated (DWI) charge in August 2021.
The sentence was handed down in Judge Lucy Hebron’s county court last Thursday morning.
Wright must attend and successfully complete inpatient rehab at the Meadows in Princeton and resume outpatient treatment at Community Healthcore in Longview.
There is no fine, but Wright must abide by the terms or she will be subjected to serving the one-year term.
