Frances “Frankie” Follis 1945-2020

Frances “Frankie” Follis, 75, of Alba passed away Oct. 1, 2020 at her home. She was born Aug. 9, 1945, in Knoxville, Tenn. to Fred and Verona Cochran Clem. Frankie graduated from Lone Oak High School, Class of 1963. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elizabeth Lamm.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Barker of Alba and Christopher Ussery of Alba; two brothers, Buddy Clem of Grapevine and Buster Clem of Campbell; three sisters, Susie White of Greenville, Mary Jo Popma of East Mountain and Vickie Wagner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
