Mineola hosts Howe for the homecoming game while Alba-Golden travels to Rivercrest, Quitman has a bye week.

Mineola crowns Rebecca Hughes homecoming queen and Layne Crump as the school's first homecoming king.

Mineola halts the first Howe drive and moves quickly to take the lead, with most of the 75 yards coming on three Dawson Pendergrass runs. 6-0 Yellowjackets.

The Jackets stop Howe again, take over at the 7, lose yardage back to the one, and then Pendergrass runs 99 yards for a touchdown. Mineola 13-0. That gives the junior 170 yards rushing in the first 8:40 of the game.

Mineola's next play goes 56 yards from TJ Moreland to JJ Gandy to make it 20-0.

Two more plays and Mineola is in the endzone again on a 46 yarder from Moreland to Brady Shrum. 27-0. Early second quarter.

Adam Blaylock jumps a Howe pass route and runs about 70 yards for a TD, 34-0.

And that's the halftime score.

Rivercrest leads Alba-Golden 14-7 at the half.

Mineola takes the second half kickoff and quickly drives for a Pendergrass TD run. 40-0.

The Yellowjackets score again on their next drive on a 10-yard run from Cason Davis. 47-0.

End of the third quarter and Mineola is driving.

A field goal makes it 50-0 Mineola.

Alba-Golden gets the win over Rivercrest 15-14.

Mineola defeats Howe 50-0.
