Gannon family continuing APET memorial work day
The family of Jeff Gannon will once again honor his memory with a work day and donations to benefit Animal Preservation of East Texas (APET).
Family and friends will gather at APET west of Mineola off Hwy. 80 on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to help with whatever needs the animal shelter has such as clean up and maintenance.
Jeff Gannon graduated from Mineola High School in 1997 and passed away Oct. 8, 2019. He was an animal lover, and the family has chosen to honor his memory by doing work and seeking donations to benefit animals.
To donate, visit apetspca.org to make a cash donation or see a list of supply needs.
Kim Gannon requests donations be noted “in honor of Jeffrey Gannon.”
Supplies can be brought to the shelter off Hwy. 80 west of Mineola or the APET thrift stores in Mineola and Winnsboro.
