Golfers compete at district meets
Near perfect golf weather afforded local scholastic golfers to fully enjoy the district tourneys March 27. The 3A district meet was hosted at Sulphur Springs Country Club, while the 2A golfers from Alba-Golden competed at the Links at Land’s End near Yantis. Alba-Golden boys advanced to the regional tournament. Mineola continued play Monday, April 3 with the girls winning the title to advance to regional.
