Gooden sworn in for 4th term in the United States Congress
With his children, Milla and Liam at his side, Congressman Lance Gooden was sworn in last week at the U.S. Capitol for his fourth term to represent the Fifth District of Texas, which includes Wood County.
Gooden voted to retain Mike Johnson as the Speaker of the House and is serving on the House Committee on the Judiciary and the House Committee on Armed Services. On the Judiciary Committee, he is a member of the Administrative State and Regulatory Reform Subcommittee as well as the Courts and Intellectual Property Subcommittee.
