Guilty pleas heard in 402nd District Court
The following guilty pleas were heard in 402nd District Court Aug. 31:
Jordan Coyne, Hawkins, possession of a controlled substance PG1/1-B less than one gram, state jail felony, six months in state jail with 40 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine and $290 court costs; forgery, third degree felony, case dismissed.
Terry W. Whitworth, Mineola, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one (PG1) one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony, 15 years in state prison with 499 days credit for time served, $2,000 fine; possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than one gram, state jail felony, dismissed.
Brandon Lee Richardson, Mineola, assault on a peace officer, second degree felony, 12 years in state prison with 505 days credit for time served, $5,000 fine; assault causes bodily injury of family/household member impeding breathing/circulation, third degree felony, dismissed; aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury, second degree felony, dismissed; violation of certain court orders or conditions of bond, misdemeanor, dismissed.
Lacey Leann Henson, Winnsboro, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance PG1 four grams or more but less than 200, first degree felony, deferred adjudication, 10 years community supervision with 320 hours community service, $2,000 fine, $290 court costs, must attend and successfully complete Mercy Mansion as condition of probation.
Kardarian Delaun Cooksey, Mineola, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, five years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $2,000 fine, $290 court costs, enroll in the batterer’s intervention and prevention program.
Roy Edgar Cagle, Mineola, theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions, state jail felony, 20 months in state jail with $5,000 fine.
Kimberly Renee Foster, Quitman, endangering a child, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, four years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $290 court costs.
Mandi Michelle Mitchell, Santa Fe, possession of a controlled substance PG1/1-B four grams or more but less than 200, second degree felony, deferred adjudication, seven years community supervision with 240 hours community service, $2,500 fine and $290 court costs; abandoning child/criminal negligence, state jail felony, dismissed.
