Harmony defeats Lady Bulldogs in two-hit shutout
Harmony southpaw pitcher Analese Cano tossed a two-hit 7-0 win over Quitman’s Lady Bulldogs at the Eagles’ home field last Tuesday. In the shutout, Cano struck out 10 with no walks.
Quitman’s Kennedi Elmore got the two Lady Bulldog hits.
Elmore also surrendered seven runs and nine hits to the Lady Eagles while striking out nine and giving up nine hits.
The Lady Bulldogs played only one game last week. Quitman is 2-4 in district action.
This week they are on the road at Mount Vernon Tuesday before facing Chapel Hill at home Friday at 6 p.m.
