Harold L. Elliott, 83, of Quitman passed away Friday, May 21 at Tyler Hospice of East Texas. He was born Feb. 27, 1938 in Santa Anna to the late Lonnie H. Elliott and Symbol Townsend Elliott. He is survived by his wife, Regina B. Gilbreath – they were married June 27, 2015; son, Wayne Elliott and wife Julie of Quitman; three brothers, Del of Granbury, Woody of San Francisco, Calif. and Jerry of Hugo, Okla.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Elliott and Mike Elliott; two brothers; and one sister.

Mr. Elliott was a carpenter and house builder. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the 1950s in Japan and Korea, receiving an honorable discharge. He was an active member of VFW Post 3992 in Mount Vernon and the American Legion.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29 at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, FM 2225 in Quitman.
