Hearing set on smaller lots
The Board of Adjustments of the city of Mineola has set a hearing Monday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. at city hall to hear a request for smaller lot sizes for a planned residential development off Old Tyler Hwy.
The developer has already received approval to rezone the property from single family to mixed use, which allows 50-foot wide lots, and the request will be to allow 40-foot lots.
If that gains approval, then the city council would have to approve a new plat for the subdivision from the original 48 lots to about 80.
