Upon completion of his naval service, he went to WVU and completed his degree in electrical engineering in 1951. He married Joan Metz in 1951. In 1983 he married Lynette Logan of Monterey, Cal. He was a stepfather to Kimberly Hynes of Florida, Kristopher Logan of California, Kerry Logan (deceased) of Virginia, Kendall Logan of Hungary and six grandchildren.

He loved music and had his own bagpipe band in California. He enjoyed teaching and tutoring at the First United Methodist Church at various times.

Alzheimer’s took his past and then his present, but he has now transitioned into his glorious future. Thank you, Father.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 29 from 1-2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mineola. Service followed at 2 p.m., and interment was held at Roselawn Cemetery in Mineola.
