Jason Patrick “JP” Collins 1970-2021

Jason Patrick “JP” Collins of Dallas was born in Fort Worth on Aug. 24, 1970. He passed away July 2, 2021 in a car accident.

JP grew up in Hurst, N. Richland Hills and Quitman. He was a much-loved hair stylist in Dallas for over 25 years. He lived in Maui for four years. JP was a creative, free spirit who cherished life and adventure and deeply loved his family, friends, Cheryl, and most of all, his precious daughter, Ariel.

JP is survived by daughter, Ariel Collins; mother, Tarwa Hawley; father, Alan Collins and wife Janice; sister, Heather Sinclair; brothers, Hunter Betts, Derek Roberson and Brett Roberson; girlfriend, Cheryl Sharp; five nieces; a nephew; and many extended family members.

JP was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
