Jeep club plans event to support law enforcement

The Lake Fork Creek Jeep Club plans a law enforcement support event, Jeepin’ to Defend the Blue, Monday, Labor Day, Sept. 7, which will include a stop in Mineola.

The day’s event begins in Emory at 9:45 a.m. at Side Kicks bar followed by a stop in Sulphur Springs at 11:45 a.m. at Lowe’s.

In Mineola the group will meet at the high school stadium at 1:45 p.m. and ride northeast to Hwy. 69, south to Hwy. 80, west to Lankford, south to Commerce and east to the gazebo for the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

The final event is in Lindale at 3:45 at the Tyler Jr. College campus.
