Katherine Josephine Armold 1943-2025

Katherine Josephine Armold, 81, passed away on May 29, 2025 in Northglenn, Colo. where she resided in recent years to be near her daughter, Lisa.

She was born on June 6, 1943 in Cameron, W.V. to parents Nathan and Ada (Mathews) Dunham. She married Joe Armold on Dec. 12, 1964. They spent many years living in the Yantis community near Lake Fork, and they enjoyed the lake life and all that it offered.

She worked most recently as a customer service representative with AAFES but spent the majority of her working life managing school cafeterias, many of those years at Irving ISD. She was also a lifelong crafter who enjoyed card making and knitting. Kathy was also a member of First Christian Church in Mineola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Armold, two brothers and four sisters.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Lisa and her husband Gary Crump; grandson, Alexander Crump; and several other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Graveside service for Kathy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Yantis Cemetery on County Road 1800 in Yantis.
