Kathy Sue (Moon) Moore 1954-2024

Kathy Sue (Moon) Moore passed away on Dec. 12, 2024.

She was born on July 25, 1954 to Herbert and Betty (Morgan) Moon, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her two sons, Shawn and his wife Missy of Melissa and Cary and his wife Sarah of Mesquite. Additionally, she leaves behind three grandchildren, Dylan, Caleb and Sevyn. She is also survived by her brother, Russell Graves, and sister-in-law, Dianne; her aunt, Mary (Morgan) Dunavin; two nieces, Kelly and Melanie; and honorary sister, Candy (Morgan) Folley. Kathy had many cousins whom she considered sisters, as well as numerous friends (collectively referred to as the WB) who cherished her vibrant spirit and sense of humor.

Kathy graduated from Yantis High School and retired from the City of Dallas. Following her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach.

Kathy was a remarkable individual who deeply valued her relationships with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Kathy at a later date.
