Lady Bulldogs dominate Winona
The Quitman Lady Bulldogs erupted for 14 runs in the top of the second inning last Tuesday to dominate Winona 17-1. A grand slam by Maddy Pence highlighted the Lady Bulldog second inning offensive uprising.
Reiny Luman held the Lady Wildcats to no hits while walking only one batter. Luman had seven strikeouts in the three-inning game. Luman also had two hits and three RBI while Pence added four RBI on her second inning slam.
Pence, Luman, Kennedi Elmore, Alexis O’Neal and Carley Spears each had two hits. Every starter for Quitman got at least one hit. Kynlee Love, Ashley Davis, Elmore and Luman each had a double with O’Neal getting a triple.
Quitman added nine stolen bases with Luman and Elmore each having two.
