Lady Bulldogs rally for three straight to beat Troup
After losing the first set at Troup 16-25 last Tuesday, the Quitman Lady Bulldogs recovered and took three consecutive sets to win their 11th game of the year.
After that initial set, Quitman scored wins of 25-18, 25-12, 25-20.
Ava Burroughs had 20 kills, 11 digs and five blocks while Brooklyn Marcee had 14 digs and nine kills, Carley Spears 10 digs and 32 assists and Alexis O’Neal 25 digs.
On Friday, the Lady Bulldogs took Class 4A Van to five sets before losing.
The Quitman JV defeated Troup 19-25, 27-25, 25-23.
Quitman was set to go to Gilmer Tuesday and will be at home against Tyler Chapel Hill Friday.
