Alba-Golden baseball and softball teams will be on the road this week for the state playoffs.

The Lady Panthers dispatched Harleton in a one-game bidistrict match last Thursday, 9-1, to earn a trip to the area playoff.

They will meet Crossroads in a three-game series at Tyler Legacy opening Thursday at 6 p.m. Game two is Friday at 6 while a third game if needed would be Saturday at 2 p.m.

The boys will get their post season going in a three-game bidistrict set with James Bowie.

It will open with a pair of games on Friday at Hooks, with the first at 5 p.m. and the second to follow. If a third is required it would be Saturday at Winnsboro at a time to be determined.
