Dear Editor:
Excuse me, Larry, but the Honorable Angela Albers is the Texas State, 402nd Judicial District attorney. She is not the Wood County attorney. Big diff.
Personally, I’m quite proud of the job our Wood County’s and our entire district’s law enforcement has been doing. You’ve been printing their accomplishments in the Wood County Monitor, Larry. “Druggies” are getting busted, convicted and sentenced by our Texas State, 402nd Judicial District judge.
Ms. Angela Albers is an officer of the court in the Texas State, 402nd Judicial District Court. She just happens to have an office in Wood County. You said yourself that she was the former assistant district attorney. Stands to reason that she has a lengthy record of accomplishments within the district.
I’m not certain, (as I’m elderly, and prone to be mistaken), that all of Wood County’s records are Ms. Albers’ responsibility.
Always my best,
James R. Carter, Sr.
