Linda May Lindsey 1950-2021

Linda May Lindsey, 70, of Hawkinspassed away on Sept. 12, 2021.

Linda was born on Dec. 28, 1950 to parents Otis Albert and Rosie Elene (Marsh) Lindsey in Cooper. She married Michael David Wood and was a homemaker for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; sister, Betty Porter; brother, David Lindsey; and grandson, Jordan Wood.

She is survived by her son, Damean Wood and wife Samantha of Longview; daughters, Mindy Wood of Hawkins and Kristi Wood of Temple; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. The service was held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Chapel with burial following at Little Hope Cemetery.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
