Martha Avery Tyler, 79, of Quitman and formerly of Irving went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 11, 2022. Martha was born Dec. 19, 1942 to the late Doris and O.D. Avery. She was the youngest of three sisters, the late Lavada Partain of Garland and the late Betty Clark of Irving. She is survived by her husband, Milton (Ty) Tyler of Quitman; daughter, Michelle Miller and husband David of Mineola, son, Lance Tyler and wife Vanita of Rockwall; and her seven grandchildren whom she cherished, Victoria Miler, Alex Lunday, Olivia Miller, Emma Miller, Mckenzie Tyler, Ellie Carter and Emmie Carter.

She married the love of her life, Milton (Ty) in 1966 and she was a loving, caring wife for the last 56 years. Her love for Christ and those around her knew no bounds. Martha spent the last 20 years as a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of Mineola.

She spent a lot of her time with her family, especially with her kids and many grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, baking and enjoying the company of her family and friends in what her family calls the “Circle of Life.”
