Four Mineola FFA Leadership Developments Events (LDE) teams are headed to state competition.

Last Wednesday the chapter competed in the Area VI LDE Contest at East Texas A&M University.

Advancing teams are as follows:

Greenhand Quiz team, first place - Jessenia Paredes, Joshua McClain, Davis Pierce, Madalyn Lacy and Kaylee Nance

Greenhand Spanish Creed, first place - Isaac Acevedo

Public Relations team, second place - Gracie Lindley, Sarah Smith, Zion Olajide and Journie Wilson

Senior Spanish Creed, second place - Allena Andablo

The Ag Advocacy and Job Interview teams also advanced to Area.

Mineola FFA wrapped up the day by winning Area Overall Sweepstakes for Division 3.
