Mineola Kiwanis Club announces fundraising holiday cheese sale
After a few delays the Mineola Kiwanis Club cheese arrived over the Thanksgiving weekend.
The Kiwanis Club has been selling cheese for a dozen years with funds going to buy Christmas presents for the Wood County Special Education Co-op children as well as provide parties at other times of the year.
The cost of cheese for customers will now be $8 a pound due to the rising costs involved in producing cheese. Four types of cheese are available: sharp and medium cheddar, pepper Jack and swirled, which is a combination of Colby and Monterey jack. No Swiss was available.
Contact any Mineola Kiwanian or President Becky Moore at 903-569-1990.
