Finally, cool temperatures for fall! Thanksgiving is fast approaching. Do you need ideas for things to cook for family and friends? We have lots of cookbooks to inspire you.

Mineola Crafting Club will meet Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10:30 a.m. They usually meet the first Saturday of the month, but schedules conflict, so this will be the November gathering. Bring your portable craft to work on and fellowship with other crafters.

Toddler Time continues on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m.

Preschool Story Time continues on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. This group will not meet on Nov. 27 (the day before Thanksgiving.)

Homeschool Heroes will meet on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. No registration required. They will be learning about Native Americans as November is Native American History month.

East Texas Perfictionist Book Club will meet on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss “These Silent Woods” by Kimi Cunningham Grant. This meeting is a week early due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

The Mineola Memorial Library will be closed Nov. 27 and 28 this year for staff to have time for the Thanksgiving holiday and to have a few days off.
