Mineola Library Notes
We just keep getting “winter” in little doses! Need some good reading material on hand for those days? Stop by the library and check out a book or two or more. We still have audio books on CD and movies on DVD.
Don’t want a physical copy of a book to hold in your hand? Try our Boundless or Freading apps for e Books. All you need is a current library card and you can find both in your app store.
Toddler Time continues on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. followed by Pre School Story Time on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. We just finished the January Home-school Heroes series but it will be back the first and third Fridays in February (7 and 21) at 10 a.m.
East Texas Perfictionist Book Club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss “First Lie Wins” by Ashley Elston as well as their movie of the month.
East Texas Library Friends are reading “The Women” by Kristin Hannah and will meet in the library on Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. to discuss it and pick out their next books to read.
For either book club, you don’t have to have read the book. Join either or both of the groups to meet new people and share lively discussions about the book and things that come up while discussing the books.
