Mineola man dies in Smith County crash
A Mineola man died in a single-vehicle traffic crash early Sunday, May 14 in Smith County.
Kaleb Brown, 22, was driving east on County Road 442 in a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 (pickup) four miles northwest of Lindale at 1:00 a.m.
He lost control and collided with a brick mailbox. He was not wearing a seat belt.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by Smith County Justice of the Peace Curtis Wulf.
State Trooper J. Duffey of Smith County investigated.
