Mineola one-act play advances
The Mineola High School one-act play, ”The Book of Everything,” advanced to bidistrict with its performance at district competition last Friday in Sulphur Springs. Bidistrict is Friday at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana. The troupe also put on a performance for the public last Tuesday. Awards for the cast and crew included Owen Coutre - Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, Ben Spofford - All-Star Cast and Miniya Rodriguez - District Honor Crew. Christian McPherson as Poppa rears to hit Momma, Audri Dunwoody. Meelah Amason as Mrs. Van Amersfoort is harrased by ensemble members.
