December 10

9:17 a.m., criminal mischief, NE Loop 564, mailbox vandalized.

10:35 a.m., motorist assist, E. McDonald at Peachtree, broken down vehicle, no one around, owner returned with another vehicle to move it.

11:23 a.m., theft, W. Patten, request to take report for prior call of missing medication.

1:49 p.m., assault, 300 blk Greenville. 

2:08 p.m., city ordinance violation, 300 blk Wren, burning leaves, unable to locate.

5:36 p.m., welfare concern, Goodson Cir., neighbors reported yelling, unable to locate, reporting party won’t answer door.

7:00 p.m., unknown offense, CR 2724, vehicle at Nature Preserve, driver advised park is closed at sundown and will be leaving.

7:15 p.m., reckless driver, Hwy. 37 at city limits, vehicle all over road, officer advised no vehicle located fitting the description.

9:26 p.m., welfare concern, W. Broad, missing person, last seen in Grand Saline, advised to contact county where last seen.

9:39 p.m., disorderly conduct, NE Loop 564, subject looking into vehicles, Thadius Lincoln McKenzie, Mineola, arrested for warrant, possession of controlled substance.

December 11

3:21 a.m., alarm, NE Loop 564, set off by employee retrieving item.

6:10 a.m., assist other agency, Goodson Cir., party woke up at this location, believes he passed out, transported by EMS with flu-like symptoms.

8:32 a.m., alarm, Ivy, patient transported by EMS.

9:00 a.m., assist other agency, E. McDonald, unresponsive subject, transported by EMS.

1:02 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, minor in parking lot.

5:27 p.m., disturbance, Goodson Cir., daughter assaulted subject, left prior to officer arrival, subject refused medical treatment.

5:58 p.m., motorist assist, 1200 blk N. Pacific, vehicle broken down, unable to locate.

6:29 p.m., suspicious subject, CR 2724, floating in water, dead deer.

9:04 p.m., disturbance, Goodson Cir., suspect advised mother does not want her to return to the location.

10:16 p.m., assault, University, victim thrown to floor by granddaughter, EMS requested.

10:27 p.m., assist other agency, McWhorter, victim from prior call transported by EMS.

December 12

7:05 a.m., disturbance, Goodson, unable to locate subject.

9:39 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 400 blk Sycamore, minor, two vehicles.

10:00 a.m., theft, E. Broad, prior gun theft reported.

2:31 p.m., motorist assist, 400 blk W. Broad, driver not aware vehicle in park, once placed in drive, was operational.

3:38 pm, disturbance, Goodson Cir., property dispute.

5:29 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Johnson, two vehicles, no injuries.

5:44 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, party stated vehicle hit her arm in parking lot and driver went in store, given verbal warning to drive slower.

6:17 p.m., disturbance, W. Broad, five males fighting in parking lot, verbal only, left prior to officer arrival. 

December 13

2:24 a.m., alarm, E. Broad, set off by passing train.

7:26 a.m., welfare concern, Landers, 911 hang up, no one answers door, appears to be secure.

1:24 p.m., welfare concern, 200 blk E. Loop 564, open 911 line, everything OK.

2:31 p.m., welfare concern, Dubose, have not heard from subjects, everything OK.

2:35 p.m., unsecured area, N. Pacific, building clear, doors secure. 

December 14

11:35 a.m., city ordinance violation, N. Pacific, two females soliciting, asked to stop and obtain permit.

12:53 p.m., warrant service, 1000 blk N. Newsom, no contact.

1:11 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, subject lost wallet, reported it has been found.

6:43 p.m., theft, S. Pacific, firearm reported stolen from vehicle, located.

December 15

9:00 a.m., theft, W. Broad.

9:17 a.m., suspicious person, E. Front, person kicked off train previous day, staff concerned he may try to reboard without ticket, suspect has money to buy ticket.

10:55 a.m., city ordinance violation, NE Loop 564, subject in store asking for money, unable to locate, store wants suspect criminally trespassed if located.

11:40 a.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, subject confused about putting groceries in wrong vehicle.

12:31 p.m., trespassing, E. Broad, unable to complete request for subject to be criminally trespassed.

2:33 p.m., suspicious person, W. Broad, subject digging through trash, asked to leave, got upset, left before officer arrival.

6:15 p.m., public assist, 700 blk NW Loop 564, subjects’ vehicle broken down, requesting ride.

8:04 p.m., information, NW Loop 564, subject’s vehicle backed into at business.

8:38 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at E. Blair, almost ran vehicle off road, unable to locate.

9:13 p.m., unknown offense, Country Club Dr., daughter ran away, returned home. 

December 16

12:21 a.m., suspicious person, S. Pacific, suspect trying to break into vehicles, advised is employee delivering vehicle from Houston.

4:01 a.m., assist other agency, Clara, unresponsive subject transported by EMS.

10:29 a.m., assault, N. Pacific, family violence.

2:41 a.m., terroristic threat, W. McDonald, man came to party’s residence to purchase item for sale, upset and threatening harm, party does not want to report problem.

3:30 p.m., escort, N. Line, funeral.

3:32 p.m., information, 300 blk Greenville, party given information to contact sheriff’s office.

3:50 p.m., inquest, 500 blk N. Newsom, justice of peace and funeral home contacted.

5:22 p.m., alarm, Wren, everything OK.

7:47 p.m., suspicious person, S. Pacific, male subject on foot is high or intoxicated, unable to locate.

10:19 p.m., reckless driver, NE Loop 564, report of person falling out of back of pickup being driven recklessly, subject taken by ambulance to hospital, not injured seriously, does not wish to file charges.

11:34 p.m., suspicious person, 200 blk E. Good, male subject moving vehicle slightly backward and forward for 20-30 minutes, Pompeyo Velasco-Baltazar, Mineola, arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcohol container.

Officers also made 37 traffic stops and 17 animal control calls.
