August 17
1:55 a.m., suspicious vehicle, E. Broad, unoccupied vehicle with lights on, doors locked.
6:23 a.m., civil matter, NE Loop 564, subject thinks he left wallet at store, found later.
7:04 a.m., information, E. McDonald, paraglider heading south reported as suspicious, officers also observed.
9:22 a.m., information, Mimosa, subject investigating neglect report.
3:29 p.m., information, NE Loop 564, copy of criminal trespass requested.
4:57 p.m., city ordinance violation, E. Broad, person soliciting a ride.
5:16 p.m., criminal mischief, W. Broad, mailbox hit by vehicle.
8:03 p.m., disturbance, Wigley, boyfriend refusing to leave after disagreement, left for the night prior to officer arrival.
10:31 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, vehicle struck large decorative rock in parking lot, not drivable.
August 18
12:17 a.m., welfare concern, Minwood, 911 hang up, everything OK.
2:38 a.m., welfare concern, E. Kilpatrick at Wigley, unable to locate male who left scene prior to previous traffic stop.
4:01 a.m., welfare concern, W. Broad, daughter missing, did not come home from work, subject located at hospital in Tyler, friends were in vehicle crash.
1:12 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk N. Pacific, minor.
2:20 p.m., disturbance, W. Kilpatrick, no sign of assault, mother, daughter and step-dad having disagreement.
3:29 p.m., civil matter, 800 blk E. Broad, trying to retrieve lawn mower left for repair when subject passed away.
8:44 p.m., disturbance, 1200 Bromberg, two subjects assaulted, Caleb Wesley Speckman arrested.
August 19
1:15 a.m., suspicious person, Second, male knocked on door to report light left on in vehicle, unable to locate.
3:13 a.m., suspicious vehicles SE Loop 564, boat left in driveway, owner given time to move it.
9:06 a.m., assist other agency, N. Pacific, EMS transport.
11:08 a.m., information, W. Hwy. 80, attempt to locate wreck, occurred in Van Zandt County.
5:16 p.m., Information, SE Loop 564, boat from previous call towed.
August 20
7:12 a.m., information, W. Broad, underage son and others reported buying beer from store.
7:35 a.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564, subject hit pole and possibly blacked out, EMS caring for subject.
9:41 a.m., unsecured area, W. Blair, shed open last night now closed, subject may be inside, not located but party wants subject criminally trespassed.
10:39 a.m., burglary, Giles, purse taken from vehicle, directed patrol issued.
12:07 p.m., public assist, E. McDonald, subject let son move out with understanding he would attend school, did not go, advised would need to address truancy issue with the school.
12:50 p.m., escort, Second, funeral.
8:03 p.m., public assist, E. Blair, subject thinks wife is trying to frame him for domestic violence, going through divorce.
8:14 p.m., public assist, N. Pacific at Loop 564, large fire observed, advised is brush fire at county residence with owner at scene.
9:13 p.m., suspicious person, Welch, recent theft victim heard car alarm, saw subject, unable to locate.
August 21
1:26 a.m., suspicious person, CR 2205, gunshots fired toward residence, officers drove area, no suspect seen, no casings found, no injuries.
7:45 a.m., civil matter, 800 blk E. Broad, question about cutting lock on deceased tenant’s gate, advised to file with civil court.
10:19 a.m., found property, CR 2205, shell casing from prior incident.
11:22 a.m., found property, Giraud at S. Newsom, bicycle found in grass.
5:36 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Pacific at McDonald, two vehicles.
11:11 p.m., disturbance, Elliott, husband and mother-in-law trying to make subject leave her residence, separated for evening.
August 22
3:51 a.m., suspicious person, 400 blk Giles, everything OK.
6:01 a.m., information, N. Pacific at Railway, train blocking intersections having mechanical difficulties.
6:15 a.m., motorist assist, N. Pacific at railway, sheriff’s office attempting to provide traffic control around delayed train.
7:50 a.m., information, Minwood, private investigator will be in area.
4:32 p.m., unknown offense, Pamela, company tearing up yard to install cable, party given number for project engineer.
6:06 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 1200 blk N. Pacific, vehicle hit in front of store, on private property.
8:37 p.m., disturbance, University, girl called about mom and boyfriend fighting, suspect left residence, verbal only.
8:53 p.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564, car on fire in parking lot.
August 23
1:31 a.m., information, Krause at Church, optic cable line across road, blocked off with cones.
1:58 a.m., subject stopped, Stone at Front, two males walking.
2:11 a.m., welfare concern, 1400 blk N. Newsom, officer checking on tiki torch lying on ground.
10:14 a.m., information, N. Pacific, man purchased suspicious items at store, employee took to vehicle, man returned item to front of store, no crime, just odd.
2:21 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, city court received vulgar call, no report filed at this time.
2:50 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, fingerprints.
3:56 p.m., reckless driver, 1000 blk W. Broad, all over the road, everything OK.
6:33 p.m., civil matter, 300 Greenville, boyfriend will not let subject retrieve items.
6:50 p.m., suspicious person, W. Kilpatrick, subject out of town receiving calls of woman walking around property. Jennifer Kelley arrested for public intoxication.
10:18 p.m., city ordinance violation, Krause at South, loud music, fire in fire pit, officer advised music not loud, just talking loud.
10:33 p.m., suspicious person, 400 bk N. Pacific, male walking down middle of road yelling and screaming, advised about walking on sidewalk.
10:47 p.m., harassment, 300 Greenville, subject reports harassing texts from soon-to-be ex-wife and sister, advised not to respond, and if it escalates, seek retraining order.
August 24
1:55 a.m., suspicious vehicle, FM 1254, vehicle blocking exit, everything OK.
8:07 a.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, one vehicle, hit pole in parking lot, no injuries.
10:34 a.m., motor vehicle accident, E. Broad, two vehicles, no injuries.
11:05 a.m., information, Second, party found blood on vehicle and side of mobile home.
12:29 p.m., theft, Belcher, brother stole lawn equipment, civil issue.
12:41 p.m., assist other agency, 1000 blk W. Loop 564, medical call.
2:14 p.m., theft, NW Loop 564, male put mower in Dumpster, unable to locate.
5:04 p.m., assault, 600 blk Hogg, event happened previous day, parties declined police action.
5:34 p.m., public assist, W. Blair, subject left with belongings but advised another subject may come by who has criminal trespass warning, advised to call police if subject comes by.
8:39 p.m., found property, 300 Greenville, spool of green wire in ditch, found outside city limits.
9:19 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 300 Greenville, two vehicles, no injuries.
9:33 p.m., reckless driver, 100 blk NE Loop 564, driving aggressively, no violations observed.
10:38 p.m., reckless driver, Hwy. 80 at CR 2895, eastbound in westbound lane, unable to locate.
August 25
1:52 a.m., assist other agency, Autumn Wind Ct., assist EMS.
2:43 a.m., unknown offense, Maxine, investigate smell, nothing located.
7:34 a.m., unknown offense, 300 Greenville, property owner advised horse had died, moved to bushes, from prior call.
9:41 a.m., reckless driver, N. Hwy. 69, driver pulled out in front of subject.
2:06 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, man walked out of business with item, when approached, laid it down and left, officers located, Christopher Matthew Peirce arrested.
4:35 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at Broad, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
5:48 p.m., reckless driver, Hwy. 80 West and CR 2230, driving in ditch and all over road, Francisco Tinajero Rodriguez arrested for driving while intoxicated-second offense.
6:46 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, unable to maintain lane, vehicle stopped, citation plus two warnings issued, no signs of intoxication.
9:32 p.m., information, NE Loop 564, case information ready for pickup.
10:08 p.m., suspicious vehicle, CR 2724, two verbal warnings.
August 26
2:01 a.m., suspicious person, 600 blk S. Pacific, neighbor’s dog barking, unable to locate.
2:14 a.m., suspicious persons, E. Broad, possible Dumpster divers, no offense, subject’s asked to leave.
5:25 a.m., information, 1000 blk E. Broad, vehicle broken down.
10:24 a.m., suspicious person, 300 blk NW Loop 564, attempted theft.
10:45 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk S. Pacific, two vehicles.
11:30 a.m., theft, N. Pacific, from shed in back of house.
1:53 p.m., suspicious persons, NE Loop 564, panhandlers, not located.
5:18 p.m., motorist assist, N. Hwy. 69 at CR 2489, subject OK.
August 27
12:05 a.m., subject stopped, 100 blk N. Line, two individuals on bike holding wooden fence piece, confirmed subject is allowed to remove fencing.
12:28 a.m., subject stopped, N. Newsom, two subjects behind business, no criminal trespass issued on either subject, neither has valid license, waiting on ride.
1:18 a.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 100 blk E. Blair, Duane Michael McCown, Wills Point, arrested for driving while intoxicated.
6:14 a.m., disturbance, 1700 blk N. Newsom, excessive noise, roofers working.
12:16 p.m., trespassing, 100 blk W. Front, trespasser on train, removed.
12:18 p.m., welfare concern, Springlake, unable to reach subject, transported for treatment.
12:30 p.m., motor vehicle accident, Freeman, subject threatened several times.
12:57 p.m., welfare concern, CR 2724, subject’s wife got out of car and refuses to get back in, subject returned to vehicle.
2:55 p.m., trespassing, N. Newsom, criminal trespass warning signed.
5:19 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at Broad, following too closely, passing in unsafe manner, unable to locate.
7:50 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, subject requesting to speak to officer about situation with ex-wife, claimed he made theft report with sheriff’’s office, WCSO has no record of report, call referred to WCSO.
7:58 p.m., assist other agency, Dubose, subject upset with breakup went willingly with EMS.
10:09 p.m., city ordinance violation, Peachtree, barking dog, dog taken inside.
11:24 p.m., information, N. Pacific, video picked up.
Officers also made 135 traffic stops and answered 24 animal control calls and six alarms.
August 28
7:52 a.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at city limits, passing on wrong side, unable to locate.
8:11 a.m., reckless driver, 1200 blk N. Pacific, passed on wrong side and yelled at reporting party, party followed and saw vehicle parked, spoke with officer, no report to be filed.
11:46 a.m., fraud, W. Blair, party talking with scammers, supposed to come to home to get money, will contact if anyone shows up.
12:27 p.m., disturbance, Harris, man yelling at subject, parties separated.
12:47 p.m., civil matter, Wren, stand by requested for child custody pick up.
1:04 p.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, verification requested of resident.
2:34 p.m., public assist, 700 blk E. Broad, motorist seeking directions.
3:37 p.m., suspicious person, N. Newsom, CPS case worker.
7:07 p.m., unknown offense, FM 1254, child screaming and crying, say parents won’t him house, no apparent criminal act.
8:32 p.m., unknown offense, E. Blair, 911 hang up, no disturbance located in area, officer knocked on door of residence and observed occupants inside turn off TV and retreat to unknown area of hose, no one came to door.
