7:27 a.m., assist other agency, N. Newsom, house fire, assistance requested from Quitman.

10:07 a.m., found property, N. Pacific at E. Broad, wallet, returned.

11:20 a.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific at Greenville, unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

4:58 p.m., welfare concern, W. Broad, spoke with subject, is OK.

5:15 p.m., motorist assist, 2000 blk N. Hwy. 69, vehicle broken down, out if roadway.

5:16 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Greenville, subject surveying recently-purchased property.

8:59 p.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564, male being aggressive with female, female advised she was safe, couple left property.

9:13 p.m., welfare concern, Graves, 911 hang up, unable to locate.

9:39 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, employee did not show up for work, subject OK. 

January 15

7:54 a.m., assist other agency, W. Patten, subject collapsed,  taken to Quitman hospital.

12:56 p.m., welfare concern, N. Line, subject OK.

3:03 p.m., assist other agency, Sycamore, criminally trespass prior tenants.

3:26 p.m, theft, Debby, subject made unauthorized charges at business.

3:49 p.m., motor vehicle accident, W. Front, two vehicles.

4:02 p.m., information, N. Pacific, tape cut on gas pump, nothing located.

4:26 p.m., warrant service, N. Line, no contact.

5:37 p.m., assist other agency, Johnson at Kilpatrick, staging for possible assistance.

6:14 p.m., city ordinance violation, Good at Wigley, burning leaves, no violation.

7:31 p.m., unknown offense, Bluebird, 911 hang up, nothing observed.

9:32 a.m., motorist assist, 100 blk S. Pacific, vehicle broken down, moved off roadway.

1:47 p.m., suspicious person, W. Broad, subject looking in vehicles, unable to locate.

2:18 p.m., assist other agency, E. US Hwy. 80, unresponsive subject, in care of EMS.

2:51 p.m., motorist assist, 1100 blk E. Broad, removing debris from roadway.

3:00 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, minor in parking lot.

7:57 p.m., motorist assist, 1300 blk E. Hwy. 80, assist with flat tire.

8:02 p.m., public assist, Loop 564 at Hwy. 69 N., tree down, moved out of roadway.

9:25 a.m., motor vehicle accident, E. Broad, minor in parking lot.

11:12 a.m., information, N. Line, CID requested.

12:28 p.m., theft, 6000 blk FM 1254, theft of water, Ulises Hernandez arrested.

2:33 p.m., identity theft, W. Kilpatrick, someone opened cash account in victim’s name.

3:46 p.m., welfare concern, E. Broad, vehicle behind subject honking, unable to locate.

6:10 p.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564, subjects asking for money, two criminal trespass warnings issued.

7:32 p.m., trespassing, NE Loop 564, subjects from prior incident returned, Ayden Kru Marshall and Nicholas Isaiah Nwoko, Ben Wheeler, arrested.

9:58 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, everything OK.

10:41 p.m., suspicious person, 400 blk Newsom, subject ran, unable to locate.

January 12

2:32 a.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564, vehicle at location for a week, no contact at possible residence.

8:29 a.m., found property, E. Front, suit case left at train depot.

9:01 a.m., information, vehicle from prior call will be towed.

1:41 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 2200 blk N. Pacific, one passenger taken to hospital.

1:54 p.m., city ordinance violation, Wren. Loud music, music turned down.

3:47 p.m., public assist, 1200 blk N. Pacific, assist elderly subject across road.

4:32 p.m., suspicious vehicle, CR 2724, disabled.

5:13 p.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 1100 blk N. Pacific, Rebecca Lynn Head, Mineola, arrested for possession of controlled substance.

5:54 p.m., city ordinance violation, Nuss at Geneva, neighbor burning, approved fire pit.

11:09 p.m., reckless driver, Buchanan at N. Line, attempted to stop, subject fled to University, W. Patten, W. Loop 564, west on US Hwy. 80, vehicle showed stolen from Gilmer, subject stopped five miles east of Grand Saline, had firearm, subject at gunpoint, refused to exit vehicle, Smith County negotiator on scene, tear gas deployed, suspect in custody, Jacob Andrew Swanson, Gilmer, arrested for unlawful possession of firearm by felon, unauthorized use of vehicle, evading arrest or detention with vehicle, bonds totaling $80,000, female questioned and released.

January 11

9:43 a.m., sexual assault, Mimosa, allegations of abuse, subject taken to UT Tyler.

10:06 a.m., welfare concern, 1200 Bromberg, apartment door open for two days, appears to be painting underway.

10:37 a.m., 700 blk Greenville, boxes in roadway, boxes cleared.

12:48 p.m., warrant service, W. Broad, subject with out-of-state warrant, unable to locate.

12:51 p.m., city ordinance violation, W. Kilpatrick, burning, fire put out.

5:10 p.m., civil matter, CR 2434, getting toll charges from vehicle sold last year, referred to justice of the peace.

8:22 p.m., welfare concern, W. Broad, 911 hang up, everything OK.

9:26 p.m., found property, Commerce, credit card.

10:54 p.m., assist other agency, Greenville.

Officers also made 86 traffic stops and answers 15 animal control calls and six alarms.
