Odell Miller Hargrove  1926-2024

Services for Odell Miller Hargrove, 98, of Alba were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. David Hendricks officiating.

Interment was in Salem Cemetery, Alba.

Mrs. Hargrove passed away Oct. 13, 2024 in Greenville. She was born on Jan. 6, 1926 in Alba to Samuel Oscar “Sam” and Allie Ree Osborn Miller. She married Sam Hargrove in Dallas on May 19, 1945. Odell lived most of her life in Rains County and was a member of Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church, Golden. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Sam Hargrove; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Hargrove and wife Winnie Carol of Emory; daughter, Sandy Hargrove of Irving; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
