Old Settlers Reunion 2022 kicks off Thursday in Quitman

The Wood County Old Settlers Reunion returns to Jim Hogg City Park in Quitman for its 121st run Thursday through Saturday.

A variety of vendors will be set up throughout the park featuring food, crafts and information, the Quitman-Lake Fork Kiwanis Club will host three nights of bingo, and musical entertainment will be featured nightly.

Sunshine Midways from Gilmer will provide rides and attractions on the front parking lot.

Dale “The C” Cummings will entertain on Thursday. Friday will have the band Swoape from Golden, and Saturday will feature Landry and Company.

Music gets underway at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
